1. Washing & Conditioning

Treat your Vietnamese Virgin Hair with the same care you would give to your natural hair.

• Use Gentle Products: Choose a moisturising shampoo and conditioner suitable for human hair extensions. Avoid excessively harsh or drying products.
• Before Your First Install: We recommend gently washing and conditioning the hair before installation, then allowing it to dry thoroughly.
• Wash Downwards: Gently wash and rinse from the weft towards the ends. Avoid scrubbing, twisting or bunching the hair together, as this can encourage tangling.
• Condition Regularly: Apply conditioner primarily through the mid-lengths and ends, then rinse thoroughly.

2. Detangling & Brushing

Gentle detangling helps minimise unnecessary tension on both the hair and wefts.

• Start from the Ends: Gently detangle from the ends and gradually work upwards towards the weft.
• Use Suitable Tools: A wide-tooth comb or extension-friendly brush is ideal for routine detangling.
• Be Gentle When Wet: Hair is more vulnerable when wet, so avoid aggressive brushing or pulling.
• Protect the Wefts: Hold the hair securely while detangling to reduce unnecessary pulling at the weft.

3. Heat Styling & Colouring

• Always Use Heat Protection: Apply a suitable heat protectant before using straighteners, curling tools or blow dryers.
• Avoid Excessive Heat: Use the lowest effective temperature for your desired style and avoid repeatedly applying high heat to the same sections.
• Colouring: Virgin Hair can be dyed to achieve a range of colours.
• Bleaching: The hair can also be bleached to lighter shades. When lifting to very light blonde shades such as #613, warmer or yellowish tones may remain.
• Professional Colouring Recommended: Significant colour changes and bleaching should ideally be carried out by an experienced professional. Chemical processing can affect the condition and longevity of human hair.

5. Night-Time Protection & Storage

Protecting your hair while sleeping helps reduce friction and tangling.

• Wrap or Braid: Loosely braid or wrap longer hair before sleeping.
• Use Satin or Silk: A satin bonnet or silk/satin pillowcase can help reduce friction overnight.
• Never Sleep With Wet Hair: Ensure the hair is thoroughly dry before going to bed.
